hedge cutting and shrub pruning - richmond

Scope

Hedge Pruning and Addressing Flooding Issues

Description of work

  • Rear Garden

    • Despite the primary goal of installing a new patio around the pool area, the project shifted focus due to unexpected flooding issues on the property.

    • Immediate action was taken to address the flooding by creating a moat system to divert water away from the house and channel it towards designated soakaways located at the garden's end.

    • During the process, inclement weather, specifically heavy rainfall, intensified the flooding concerns.

    • Implementation of extensive drainage measures, including the installation of over 400 meters of perforated drainage pipe, 100mm pipes, and 55 meters of acco channels.

    • Additionally, around 220 tons of clay and associated materials were removed to optimize the drainage system and mitigate further flooding risks.
