The Flourish legacy began with a commitment to quality and integrity – values that continue to define us today. Craig Davis BSc (Hons) Horticulture, University of Bath founded Flourish Landscaping with a clear focus on combining sound horticultural knowledge with high-quality landscape construction.
A family tradition in horticulture
Flourish Landscaping builds on a family connection to horticulture that spans more than six decades.
Craig’s father, Gerald Davis, began working in gardens in 1955, developing his skills at a time when horticulture was learned through long-term practical experience and close observation of plants and landscapes. His work was rooted in the gardens of Ham and the surrounding areas, where he built a reputation for careful workmanship and deep plant knowledge.
Growing up around this environment gave Craig early exposure to the realities of working gardens, not just how they look when newly finished, but how they grow, change, and respond to care over time. That grounding, combined with formal horticultural training, continues to shape the way Flourish approaches every project.
Today, that blend of inherited knowledge and academic training underpins a practice that values longevity, proportion, and thoughtful planting above short-lived trends.
Craig now leads our team with a hands-on approach that unites three decades of experience with a forward-thinking design sensibility.
